It is addressed to graduate students and professionals without specific training in Machine Learning. The purpose of this career pathway is to provide students with the knowledge and specific tools about machine learning and the skills-set to enable management, assessment, communication of data treatment results, interpretation and the scope and implications of the results obtained.
There are no formal requirements for the diploma course. The minimum requirements (essential good programming skills in Python and the equivalent of an undergraduate course in linear algebra and statistics), not to be overqualified in Machine Learning and diversity of students within the cohort (education, age, gender, career stage, place of work, area of application, professional role, trajectory).
The course is held on Fridays from 6 pm to 10 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm, on alternate weekends, from April to December, with a total of 180 hours, 120 of which are synchronous and 60 of non-synchronous activities (practical exercises in groups or individually with the support of professors). It is a prerequisite for approval to attend a minimum of 80% of the synchronous sessions.
This includes a transversal project with personalized mentoring, like the ones you can see here. 60% of the hours correspond to compulsory subjects and 30% to elective subjects. A total of 11 electives were taught during the course.

Introduction to Machine Learning
There will be quotas for the different registration categories: full, reduced, half and full scholarship.
The fee for the Diploma has been set at 200,000 pesos for 2022. A reduced registration fee of 150,000 pesos is available for students, employees of micro and small companies and employees of companies belonging to the Córdoba Technology Cluster. A quota of half scholarships (with a fee of 100,000 pesos) is foreseen.
It can be paid in 5 monthly installments from March to July. The scholarships are requested in the corresponding box of the registration form.

The Scientific and Industrial Collaborative Node for research and development of Artificial Intelligence was introduced in December 2017. In May 2018 the Cordoba Technology Cluster and the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, Astronomy and Computing (FAMAF) from the National University of Cordoba entered into an agreement to establish its creation. In 2021, the Ministry of Science and Technology of Cordoba joined this initiative.
The NODO formalized the delivery of the Program “Diploma in Data Science- Machine Learning and its applications between the Industry and the Academic Institution”.
